I made myself a promise 40 years ago. If I lived long enough to actually retire I would spend some time painting and see just what I was capable of.

My focus has almost always been portraits but these days its on to something new. My Prarrie House pastel took 2nd at the Veterans Hospital, national contest. What fun.

I have pictures that I took from an ultralight airplane in 1987. It would be great fun to make a 25 year anniversary flight, from that small dirt strip at Morton, in southern Washington State, back to Mount St. Helens, the volcano mountain.

Visitors statistics report the number and location of visit/interest in my portfolio, though it seemed strange that someone in Guangzhou - China looked at every picture. Then it was someone in Overland Park, KS., Pakistan and all over Europe then New York and Houston, cool. Now Damascus - Syrian Arab Republic hard to believe a Syrian in Damascus does not anything better to do than look at my water color of Best Girl.

Google me. And ya I know you love me - buy something. Even the post cards are suitable for framing.

My favorites are some inspired works - so much talent in this world - and just north of me in Kansas and just south me in Texas.

I turn 64 this year and though it is definitely, an awkward age, it is also a very gratifying time in my life to be doing some of my best work ever.
